Amber means Aure filled it. Fields it can't back up with your words stay empty — it never invents.

Put it on your computer

Paste into Terminal. Apple Silicon, macOS 13 or newer — Aure lands in your menu bar; hold ⌃⌥Space to dictate anywhere. Or download the archive yourself: we're not in Apple's developer program yet, so a browser download hits the “unidentified developer” wall the command avoids.

Allow two thingsMicrophone (macOS asks by itself) and Accessibility (one switch in System Settings — it's what lets Aure press ⌘V for you). The panel walks you through both.

Two things, everywhere

Dictate. Hold ⌃⌥Space, speak, let go. Works in Mail, Slack, your browser, your terminal — anywhere a cursor blinks. About a second later, your words are there.

Fill. Click into any app's form, press Fill in the Aure panel, and say everything once — name, dates, the whole story. Aure reads the form's labels, puts each thing in its box, and shows you exactly what it filled. It never presses Submit; you review, you save.

What leaves your machine: your audio, for transcription — then it's deleted. Nothing is stored, no recording is kept, no keystroke log exists.

What never leaves: what's already in your forms and windows. When Aure fills a form it sends the field labels (“Email address”), never the contents.

What it can't see: your keyboard. The shortcut is registered with macOS directly — Aure is told about ⌃⌥Space and nothing else.
